Terms & Conditions
We are fully insured for animal boarding services.
1. All rabbits must be up to date on their RVHD and myxomatosis vaccinations at the time of boarding. We ask that up-to-date vaccination cards be brought along and shown on the arrival day of your bunnies' stay.
2. If your rabbit shows signs of disease or illness we will reserve the right not to accept your pet for boarding. Any medical conditions must be discussed with us prior to boarding - we are happy to administer medications but please advise in the enquiry form if this is needed. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of our own rabbits and pets in our care after yours.
3. We are not held liable for any illnesses such as (but not limited to) Myxomatosis, Rabbit Haemorrhage Disease, Rabbit Haemorrhage Disease 2, E. Cuniculi, fly strike, mites or any other diseases. We will carry out frequent bottom checks and ensure that all rabbits are kept clean, and their litter changed frequently.
4. If your rabbit(s) become ill whilst in our care, we will inform you immediately and take them to our local vet (who is RWAF recognised). We will always try our best to keep you well-informed. Any veterinary fees or medications will need to be made to us on your return.
5. In the unfortunate and unlikely event of death, we will advise you immediately. Any requests for final wishes we will do our utmost to respect these. We again, will not be held liable if your pet passes whilst in our care.
6. Whilst your pets are in our care, we will always provide them with fresh high-quality hay, fresh greens, and pellets which will need to be given and brought on arrival with your rabbits. If you've forgotten or didn't provide enough for the length of their stay, this is fine (we live close to a pet store!), but you will incur a food charge of £15.
7. All rabbits (besides solo bunnies), must be bonded prior to staying with us. We do recognise bonding behaviours and have experience in this area so any concerns with your rabbits' bond will be advised.
8. Our rabbit-friendly space is a large room in our ground-floor garden flat. It meets the requirements as stated by RWAF, and is approximately 15 metres squared. However, our garden/courtyard is not appropriate for rabbits, but we do ensure your rabbits have the ability to run, hop, zoom and binky as they please.
9. Lastly, this is a gentle reminder that your rabbits are staying in our home. From time to time, we may need to leave the house for a small amount of time but we do have 24/7 motion cameras in the bunny room to check in. We'd also like to remind you that whilst we understand rabbits (especially in a new environment), can be destructive at times, if any serious damage occurs to our belongings, we do kindly ask that this is replaced. We will also provide plenty of chew toys and play things to prevent this and keep them satisfied.
