About Us

At Daisy & Joe Bunny Boarding, we believe that every pet deserves love, care, and attention, which is why we dedicate our time to your rabbits whilst they are in our care. We've adopted a 1-to-1 boarding style which allows us to closely take care of your rabbits when you're away from them.

Our 1-to-1 style means that there will be no other boarders with us when you book. You're essentially booking our whole space, (along with our close eye!) on your pets alone which gives you the peace of mind that they will be well looked after.

Daisy & Joe is run by my partner, Dylan, and myself, Melissa. I personally have had rabbits since childhood and was very keen and involved in my school's own pet rescue, looking after and caring for rabbits from tiny kits to fully grown giant breeds. Now, as an adult, I have my own two indoor free roam pair which Dylan and I bonded successfully ourselves. When we struggled to find care for Daisy & Joey when we planned to go away, we knew there was a gap for like-minded bunny owners that needed to be filled. When researching boarding places, all I could think was how many other bunnies are being looked after? Why are there virtually no indoor boarding facilities? If someone is looking after 20+ pets, how can they keep a close eye on my babies in case they get ill?

And we all know how sensitive our rabbits are to illnesses like gut blockages or GI Stasis, so being able to be monitored closely is a key priority for us.

Daisy & Joey are our resident buns. Joey has been with me since he was about 14 weeks old, and he turned 8 years old this year! He's still a soppy baby at heart. We adopted Daisy after being able to move into our current home last year. Daisy is about 2 years old now, and allowing them to bond has been the most rewarding experience for us. They are both besotted with each other!
